Remembering Lot’s Wife
Jesus said, “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 19:32) What is it that we should be remebering about Lot’s wife? She was disobedient to the Lord’s warning. She showed her disbelief in God’s Word. She desired Sodom, the things and the goods she left in Sodom. When our Saviour warns us to remember Lot’s wife, it appears from Luke 19:31 as if our Lord is also making a special reference to the desire that Lot’s wife had in her heart for Sodom and the things she left in Sodom. When Lot’s wife looked back in disobedience, in consequence to God’s judgement ”… she became a pillar of salt.” Christians must take heed and walk in obedience to God’s Word. They must not look back to sin and temptations of the world.

ONE GOSPEL
God did not have two different Gospels as if one for the Jews and another for the Gentiles. Instead He had one plan of Salvation that he made in Eternity in Christ (Ephesians 1:3-8; 3:5-6) before the foundation of the world. God has His elect from among all the nations of the world. The Great Commission of our Lord Jesus is “…to make disciples of all nations, i.e., from all ethnic groups.” Pastor John recently has been preaching Gospel messages from the book of Genesis in his morning series especially looking at Abraham’s Faith and life. Abraham was justified by faith alone and he was justified by faith before he was circumcised.
